General analysis with Google Analytics

1. Description and Scope of the Processing

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). It uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on the computer of the data subject and scan usage of our website both in real time and over the long term. Among other things, it collects data on which website a data subject has come to a website from (so-called "referrers"), which subpages of the website were accessed or how often and for which period of time a subpage was viewed. The information generated by the cookie about data subject's behavior is generally transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. As IP anonymization is activated on our website, however, Google must first truncate data subject's IP address in an EU or EEA country (only in the event of technical outage in Europe, for instance, is the IP address first truncated in the U.S.).

2. Legal Basis for the Processing

Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing of these data (legitimate interests pursued by the controller).

3. Purpose of the Processing

Google will use this information on behalf of us for purposes of evaluating usage of our website, compiling reports on website activity and providing us with other services relating to website and Internet usage. The statistics we obtain help us to regularly improve usage of our website.

4. Data Storage Duration

The data mentioned above will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose of their collection.

5. Right to object

The storage of cookies can be prevented by the data subject by selecting an appropriate setting in its browser. Furthermore, the data subject can prevent the collection of data that is generated by the cookie from Google (including data subject's IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:

We have no control over this data transfer and the further data processing by Google.

According to Google, the Tag Manager itself does not process any personal data of the data subject. More information can be found in the Google Tag Manager Use Policy. HubSpot CRM Platform

We use HubSpot on our website, a tool for digital marketing provided by the American company HubSpot, Inc., located at 25 First St 2nd Floor, Cambridge, MA, USA. The company has its main headquarters in Europe in Ireland with the address Ground Floor, Two Dockland Central, Guild Street, Dublin 1, Ireland.

This is an integrated software solution that covers various aspects of online marketing. HubSpot allows us, among other things, to manage existing and potential customers, as well as customer contacts. With the help of HubSpot CRM, we can capture, organize, and analyze customer interactions via email, social media, or phone across different channels. The collected personal data can be evaluated and used for communication with potential customers or for marketing activities (e.g., newsletter mailings). With HubSpot CRM, we can also capture and analyze the user behavior of our contacts on our website.

HubSpot uses cookies, small text files that are locally stored in your web browser's cache on your device, enabling us to analyze your use of the website. HubSpot analyzes the collected information (e.g., IP address, geographic location, browser type, duration of visit, and pages visited) on our behalf so that we can generate reports about the visit and the pages viewed.

Information collected by HubSpot is stored on servers provided by HubSpot's service providers. The processing of personal data is contractually agreed to take place exclusively within the EU. However, we would like to point out that it cannot be entirely ruled out that personal data may be transferred to the USA or that US security authorities may have access to it.

For the USA, there is an adequacy decision by the EU Commission pursuant to Art. 45 para. 1 GDPR regarding companies certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. HubSpot, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and is therefore committed to complying with adequate data protection standards, which can be viewed at the following link: www.dataprivacyframework.gov/s/participant-search. This means that any data transfer to the USA is considered unobjectionable due to the current adequacy decision of the European Commission dated July 10, 2023.

For potential transfers to other third countries outside the EU and the EEA for which there is no adequacy decision by the EU Commission, standard data protection clauses under Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c) GDPR have also been agreed upon. These clauses obligate the data recipient in the third country to process the data in accordance with the protection level in Europe. The data processing agreement, which corresponds to the standard contractual clauses, can be found at https//legal.hubspot.com/dpa.

Purpose and Legal Basis

The collection and storage of data only occur with explicit consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR. This consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.

Storage Duration

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. The specific storage duration of the processed data is not influenced by us but is determined by HubSpot, Inc. Further information can be found in the privacy policy for HubSpot CDN: https://legal.hubspot.com/de/privacy-policy.

You can permanently object to the collection of data by HubSpot and the setting of cookies by preventing the storage of cookies through your browser settings. You can also object to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future.

For more information on data protection, please refer to HubSpot's privacy policy, HubSpot information on EU GDPR, and information on cookies used by HubSpot.
