After the end of support date, Atlassian and Marketplace Partners will no longer provide technical support for any issues, security updates, or bug fixes for Server. Regular security updates help protect your business from threats, so we recommend moving to the Atlassian Cloud or Data Center products before the end of support date.

If your organization relies on Atlassian server products, it's important to prepare for the end of support and plan for the future. Here are some steps you can take to prepare for the end of server Atlassian.

1) Understand the timeline

Atlassian has announced that they will end support for server products on February 2, 2024. This means that after this date, Atlassian will no longer provide bug fixes, security patches, or new features for server products. However, if you are using Data Center products, support will continue.

2) Evaluate your options

Before you make any decisions, it's important to evaluate your options. Atlassian offers cloud and Data Center versions of its products. You should consider factors such as cost, functionality, and ease of migration when evaluating your options.

3) Plan your migration

If you decide to migrate to cloud or Data Center products, you should plan your migration carefully. You'll need to consider factors such as data migration, app compatibility, and user training. Atlassian provides migration resources, including guides and tools, to help you plan your migration.

4) Communicate with your Team

It's important to communicate with your team, including users and IT staff, about the end of server Atlassian and your migration plan. You should explain the reasons for the migration, the benefits of the new solution, and the timeline for the migration. You should also address any concerns and answer any questions.

5) Test and verify

Before you make the switch to a new solution, it's important to test and verify that everything works as expected. This includes testing data migration, app compatibility, and user access. You should also perform security testing to ensure that the new solution meets your security requirements.

6) Train users

Finally, you should train users on the new solution. This includes providing training on how to use the new software, as well as any changes to workflows and processes. You should also provide support during the transition period to help users adapt to the new solution.

We are your partner for support and migration at all stages of the process. As you prepare for the end of Atlassian Server, it's important to plan and communicate carefully.
